Certified Organic Quinoa Flour: Quinoa (Chenopodium) comes from the Andean regions of Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia and Peru where it was domesticated 4000-5000 years ago for human consumption. Quinoa is known as being a “super food” because it is very high in protein as well as fibre, complex carbohydrates, calcium, phosphorous, iron and vitamins (B and E) and is gluten free. Quinoa has a unique flavour that is intensified when ground into flour and used in making pasta.
